Vladimir Goes for Gold

What is the Little Watts series?

June 11, 2016

Did you know that Gesa Power House Theatre offers a Little Watts Children’s Series of Family Entertainment to give Walla Walla more family-friendly entertainment options? From circus entertainers to magicians to singers and live theater, the Little Watts series is always geared towards catching the short attention spans of young audience members. We find that parents often find the shows entertaining as well. We try to schedule these shows during breaks from school, whenever possible.

So far this year, thanks to the generous sponsor support of Walla Walla Valley Honda and Gesa Credit Union, three Little Watts shows have been announced (and at least one more is in the planning stages).

2016 Little Watts Series:

April 5, 2016 – Wanderlust Circus – Family Night

Wanderlust Circus performed a variety show with acrobats, aerialists, live music, a singing strong-woman, and a ringmaster to keep all going.

June 15, 2016 – “Vladimir Goes for Gold” – Children’s Theater

School is out. The Olympics are coming. Bring the young kids to experience live theater and get excited for the games! Traveling Lantern Theater will perform a short play titled “Vladimir Goes for Gold” about a young athlete, training for the Olympics. The night before his big day, Vladimir has an enthralling dream that takes him to Ancient Olympia, where he meets the Olympic Herald and teams up with the audience to explore the first Olympic Games.
