Just Us Girls Sharing (J.U.G.S.) invites you to an EP Release Party for indie folk duo Sound and Stone at Gesa Power House Theatre on Saturday, October 27 at 7:00 p.m. Proceeds will benefit J.U.G.S.
Brothers Nico and Bash Evans have been making music as Sound and Stone for more than a decade, and only recently decided to record their first studio work, an EP titled “The Vardo,” with Dave Tate at Red Earth Recording Studios.
“A mere description of the musical magic created by Sound and Stone does not do justice to the experience that is Sound and Stone. At first glance, the two appear to be ordinary musicians but once they engage you, there is an alluring force felt which attracts even the most casual passerby. As they begin to play, the rhythms, sound, skill, talent, and personality begin to attract and hypnotize an audience with fascination. The way they are able to make music that reaches the soul is a rare gift offering an enchanting encounter long remembered.”

The locally-formed and operated cancer survivor support network raises funds to directly benefit cancer survivors through cash assistance, the purchase of household items and appliances—basically, those things not covered by insurance.
